LEED v4 Green Associate and LEED v4 BD+C Accreditation

This one-day class prepares you to pass both required LEED accreditation exams.

LEED Green Associate

This is a LEED credential introduced in May 2009.  It is for professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice, including real estate sales, real estate management, real estate law, and sales and manufacturing representatives of building materials, products and equipment.  It denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations.  The LEED Green Associate credential also serves as the first step for professionals pursuing a LEED AP credential.

LEED AP BD+C (Accredited Professional Building Design & Construction)

This credential replaced the now-retired LEED AP New Construction exam track.  Available since September 15, 2009, it provides a standard for professionals participating in the design and construction phases of high-performance, healthful and environmentally sound commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential buildings.  It signifies an advanced depth of technical knowledge of green building practices.  This exam is the second and final step required to achieve the LEED AP BD+C credential.

Refer to the LEED GA Candidate Handbook and the LEED AP BD+C Candidate Handbook (available to view on-line at www.usgbc.org) for full credentialing details.

LEED 2014 Reference Guide for Green Building Design & Construction

This is a comprehensive userís manual that guides a LEED project from registration to certification of the design and construction of new or substantially renovated commercial or institutional buildings and high-rise residential buildings, and is a primary LEED reference resource.  We recommend, but do not require, that you purchase and read this reference guide.  It is available through the www.usgbc.org  website store.

Our 200-page 2014 LEED Exam Prep Course Manual & Study Guide summarizes the pertinent exam-related information of the LEED 2014 Reference Guide for Green Building Design & Construction and includes important additional exam preparation information. The Manual & Study Guide plus over 125 Sample Exam Questions and Answers are included in the course fee.
